Bug Box

My capstone project at university was focused on creating an accessible way to introduce young people to eating insects: a nutritious and eco friendly food that is often met with heavy resistance from western palettes. Somewhere between a Hello Fresh meal kit and a chia pet, this grow at home kit was designed to demystify insect agriculture while providing a fun (and tasty) learning experience for young children and curious minds of all ages. A single use cardboard grow box and included feed and cricket eggs provide the perfect low commitment point of entry for the aspiring bug eater. Kit to plate in about 1 month!
